Julia Best Rivas brings a lifelong passion for golf and junior development to Acorn Golf Club.
Julia attended The University of Texas at Austin on a golf scholarship from 2003–2008, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Since graduating, she has coached both boys’ and girls’ high school golf teams throughout the San Antonio and Northeast Texas areas. Under her guidance, all three programs she coached advanced to compete at the regional and state levels.
Julia has continued to share her love of the game through junior golf camps with The First Tee and, more recently, at Chambers County Golf Course. She is passionate about helping golfers of all ages build confidence, develop their skills, and most importantly, fall in love with the game.
Outside of golf, Julia lives in Anahuac, Texas, with her husband and two children. She also teaches fourth grade at Anahuac Elementary School.
